Hi, I'm Julie - mother of four and avid gardener. I always dreamed of being Laura Ingalls,
and living the 'country life'...well dreams are funny things and have a way of coming true in unexpected ways. It may not be on the prairie, but I sure do live the best 'farm life' that I can on my little one acre slice of heaven
in the middle of town!
We host farm & garden day camps
for kids ages 5-13, in hopes of planting in their hearts the love of nature and gardening, and letting them experience the joy and satisfaction that comes from patience and hard work.
We have a hen house full of chickens, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 ducks, a couple of beehives, a family of goats, an ever increasing number of rabbits, and a miniature horse! We are lucky enough to grow a variety of fruits- apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, grapes, and strawberries.
And of course a huge vegetable garden!
Fun, interactive cheese making class for beginners. No special equipment needed. Hands-on
demonstration that includes sampling! There will also be an opportunity to tour the farm and even milk a goat!
Class will be outdoors- Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate "farm shoes".
Cost: $50 per couple
Please email: happyfoundfarm@gmail.com to reserve your seat in the class
Come enjoy the goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and miniature horse. Play some old fashioned games- corn hole, horse shoes, potato sack races, croquet and more!
Children under 85 lbs can have a hand lead PONY RIDE!
You will have 2 hours exclusive access to the farm, picnic tables & chairs, outdoor fridge and freezer, fire pit and roasting sticks.
Cost: $275 for up to 15 children. Additional cost for more children and/or extended time.

Kids that plant gardens are more likely to eat the fruits and vegetables they harvest. With a little bit of sun and water, your kids can grow healthier too,
